My friend Jill, a firefighter in Washington State, asked me to take some portraits of her in her gear. She was worried before we took the pictures that they wouldn't seem "real" enough because her gear was so clean. THen the night before she ended up working a fire so she was thrilled that her gear was dirty! This was one of my favourites.

Perfect portrait, her eye contact with the camera is good, although my suggestion for this kind of portraits is apart from the subject having eye contact, the eyes should be open up to the max(which possible with subtle lighting). good work.
